We had a great day today with part of L-Pod right off of Sooke. We had the L-2’s and L-5’s, over 15 Resident Orcas. It was certainly a spectacular show of playing, feeding and breaching.
We have availability tomorrow on both tours.

Yesterday we spent both tours with a large group of Transient Orcas on the US side.
Today was spent with the “Super Pod” off of Race Rocks heading East. They were moving fast but definitely feeding on the way. It was a beautiful, calm day today.
Today took us just off of Sooke to greet our Resident Orca “Super Pod”. It was definately a wet day on the Juan de Fuca Strait, but exciting to see 88 Orcas. Lots of large groups seen close together with some around 15+ animals, truly spectacular.
Tomorrow we have a few seats available for the 10am and 2:30pm tours.
Yesterday we had 2 Humpbacks off of Sooke all day. It was a GREAT sight to see these massive animals in the Juan de Fuca Strait again.
Yesterday we had T20 and T21 off of Race Rocks. Our second tour took us back to them off of Sooke. They were actively feeding and moving west.
It has been extremely busy with Sooke Coastal Explorations that we have not been able to update our blog. We have been seeing whales everyday from our Resident Orcas, Transient Orcas, Grays and Humpbacks. Our larger vessel with a bathroom, all of our guests have had a blast!

We had 3 excellent tours yesterday. We started the first 2 off of Sooke and Jordan River with members of L-Pod. Our last tour took us to San Juan to look at the newest member of L-Pod, L-111. It was a magnificent day, lots of whales playing…….
We had a terrific day off of Sooke. We had no reports of any whales sighted as of yet. We decided to travel to Race Rocks to view the marine animals there when I spotted Transient Orcas. It was excellent to be with them all day. We viewed them feeding, spy hopping and other activities on both trips.
Well we had 2 GREAT Trips today. Started the morning in the fog towards San Juan Island. We did view many of L-Pod. Our afternoon trip took us right off of Sooke. We got contacted by many local fisherman that several groups of whales were off of Sooke. We viewed members of the Resident Orcas breaching, spy hopping, tail slapping….. It was truly an excellent day.
Today both tours took us to L-Pod. It was a great show as the animals porpoised, breached, and fed around us. There were approx. 18+ Resident Orcas while the others were off of Vancouver.
