That is true, we had all this on our private marine bird watching charter off of Swiftsure Bank. What a day, we left Sooke and headed straight for Swiftsure Bank where we viewed miles and miles of Marine birds feeding on herring. I would guess over 5000+ birds per 1/4 sq mile. Also close to us were 14 Humpbacks also feeding on the herring and krill. Our way back took us close to shore where 12 Gray whales were spotted from Carmanah Light house to Jordan River. It was a day that all of us will remember….

Today was excellent as we had whales on both tours. We started the morning group off of Sooke with the Super Pod of Orcas. The Orcas were spread out over a mile but many small groups were close. Breaching, Spy Hopping and feeding were observed.
Our afternoon trip included the Super Pod, but also 3 Gray whales and Brown Pelicans. It was a treat for everyone to see that many animals.

Today was a perfect day for Orca and Whale Watching. We started out just off of Victoria when we came across playful Dahls’ porpoise that rode our bow. We then began to head where J-Pod was and found a Minke Whale (smallest whale in our waters) just beyond the playful porpoise. J-Pod and others were sure active today.

Tomorrow we have a few seats left on our afternoon tour

Today we started West towards Port Renfrew when we were notified of Orcas off of Race Rocks. It was the Super Pod of Orcas (88 of them) coming back from 5 days out West. It was certainly a wet day, but seeing all of them close by made it wonderful.

Sep 23

We had a great day with 2 groups of Transient Orcas and a Humpback Whale off of Sooke today. One Orca did feed (seal probably) right in front of us which was a spectacular sight.

Sep 21

Sept 18 took us right off of Sooke with the Super Pod of Orcas. 88 Orcas travelling West feeding, playing, spy hopping…. It was excellent to see them. On our 2nd tour that day we also made it to the Super Pod off of Port Renfrew but also found 5 Gray whales on the way.

Sept 19, took us to Race Rocks to view hundreds of Seals and Sea Lions then to a group of Transient Orcas. It was an excellent day for our Marine Adventure and Whale Watching

Sep 17

Today took us up past Jordan River, west of Sooke. We found 2 Gray Whales feeding near the beach 2 miles west of Jordan River. It was a terrific day to view these awesome animals.

Tomorrow we have our 10am tour with seats still available. Call 250-642-2343

Today was a GREAT day for whale watching, both tours were very exciting. We had Resident Orcas and Transient Orcas in a close proximity to each other. On top of that the weather was beautiful and lots of marine mammals all out at Race Rocks.

Tomorrow we have our 10am tour going with a possible 2:30pm.

Sep 14

We had a great day yesterday with L-Pod (Local resident Orcas) off of San Juan Island. Only a portion of the L’s were seen as the rest had moved past Sooke the day before. It was a great day for all of us to see the breaching, spy hopping….

We did have our sunset cruise last night which was terrific. The sky exploded in colors with our return trip in the full moon

Sep 12

Today we had a GREAT DAY with L-pod off of Sooke. They were moving slowly to the West and we all had a great time! We had over 20 Orcas that were spread out in a couple of smaller sub pods.

Tomorrow we have availability on our morning tour and afternoon if needed.
