It was a great day to be on the water today. We started our Eco Tour heading East to Race Rocks. The seas were calm but a little on the chilly side. We viewed lots of Stellar Sea Lions and a few California Sea Lions on the Rocks. We then travelled a few miles off shore to pick up any sign of whales travelling through our area, with no luck. One of our stops was to view an eagles nest with a few adult and juvenile Bald Eagles near by. Just before heading back to Sooke we viewed the East Sooke Petroglyph which was a perfect ending to the tour.
