Today took us East to hang our with our local Resident J-Pod off of San Juan Island. The weather was GREAT and the Orcas were actively Breaching, Tail Slapping, Feeding and much more. On our way back we stopped in at Race Rocks to see the hundreds of Sea Lions on the Rocks.
Today took us all the way to Sombrio Beach then across the Strait to Port Angeles for a pair of large Gray Whales. The pair of Whales fed for hours in the protection of Crescent Bay, Washington. Our trip back took us through Race Rocks to see the many Sea Lions and Seals that are now on the rocks.
Today we had a great day that took us right off of Sooke. We started out with 12+ Transient Killer Whales as they headed East. On our way back I came across L-Pod as they were also heading East as well.
Lots of whales for everyone to enjoy.
What a terrific day we had as many whales past the Sooke area. We departed on our morning tour to find 4 Transient Orcas heading West right off of Sooke. All on board witnessed them feeding on what appeared to be a Harbour Seal, what a sight. The residents as well came through and tomorrow looks like it will be full of excitement.
We just had reports from Rollie Rose, Cal Young & Mark Grant, that 4 Orcas were spotted
off Otter Point inbound. Also Reports of a possible Super Pod of Orcas at Port Renfrew
also coming this way.
Yesterday took us across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Port Angeles to see a large Gray Whale. This animal was slowly heading West right along the shore.
this morning we left at 5am for a bird watching charter. Everyone had an excellent time as we viewed many Black Footed Albatross, several different Shearwater species and other rare birds to our area.
Our return trip included time with our resident L-Pod as they were heading West.

Today we had a great trip that took us past Race Rocks. We did get a report of 2 Humpbacks in the area which we eventually found. It was the same 2 Humpbacks that we have had in this area for 4 days. Race Rocks was also full of wildlife.
Today we had 2 great trips with excellent weather. Our morning took us West to see 2 separate groups of Transient Killer Whales. The T 10’s were heading west at a slow pace and on our way back we picked up T 20 & T 21 heading East.
Our afternoon tour took us right out of the Harbour mouth to once again come across T 20&21. Our tour also took us to Race Rocks to view hundreds of Stellar & California Sea Lions. To end our tour we spent time with a pair of Humpbacks off of Constance Bank. It was a full day of exciting sights for everyone to enjoy.
